Our History

Dartmouth Pools and Spas was founded in 1983 as a sole proprietorship by Norry Alves Sr. Through a steadfast commitment to pride and quality, the company began to grow, expanding operations on Dartmouth Street with an increasing staff and customer base. In 1999, under the leadership of Norry Alves Jr., a major expansion and relocation brought us to our current location, positioning the company for continued success.

After years of thriving under Norry Jr.’s leadership, the company transitioned in ownership to longtime employees Dan Cosby and Jay Amaral. While leadership has evolved, our core values and mission statement remain unchanged. Dartmouth Pools and Spas continues to be a family-oriented business dedicated to helping families create cherished backyard memories.
